International schools are becoming more sought-after of late not only from expatriate but local Malaysian parents as well. The increasing demand can be attributed to the use of English as the medium of instruction in international schools and the international curriculum adopted that is holistic, more interactive and encourage critical thinking. In addition, international schools have better facilities and adopt the latest classroom technology and management systems to enhance the teaching and learning process and experience.
There are currently more than 80 international schools in Malaysia, with more new schools opening up in the near future. Most of these schools offer education from pre-kindergarten/pre-reception/reception to year 12/grade 12/sixth form.
